Thought you'd 'NEVER' be seen in a tracksuit! Victoria Beckham goes back on her word as she unusually steps out in sweat pants

..Earlier this year she famously declared that she would never be seen on the street in a tracksuit.

But fast forward little over four months and Victoria Beckham has completely gone back on her word.

The normally pristine star ditched her designer pencil skirts and heels yesterday (Friday)... to step out in a tracksuit and a pair of trainers.

It's a rarity to ever see the Spice Girls star even leave the house without one of her own brand items on.

But she decided to ditch her usual style for a change and go for more of a Sporty Spice look than her Posh alter ego.

The 38-year-old went for a pair of grey slouchy tracksuit bottoms and matching top that almost made it look like a onesie.

She even ditched her staple heels for some lime green trainers, causing a stir seem as she never even wears flats.

And it was all to get involved with eldest son Brooklyn's tennis camp.

Beckham stood with the 13-year-old and his pals looking surprisingly comfortable in the get-up.

The only sign of her usual celebrity demeanour was her flowing hair and obligatory large sunglasses.

It was only in March that Victoria declared she wouldn't ever ditch her fashion to walk around in a tracksuit.

She told French fashion magazine Madame Figaro at the time: 'You’ll never see me on the street in a tracksuit. I just love fashion too much to wear a tracksuit!

'The same goes for Ugg boots. I only wear them only at home.'

But she obviously didn't mind sidestepping her style stakes to get involved with her son's activities.

Beckham looked in a relaxed mood as she patted Brooklyn's shoulder and happily chatted to one of his female friends.

It could be that she's busying herself to take her mind of her latest woes.

A little over a week ago Victoria and her husband David Beckham were rocked by sensational internet rumours claiming he'd had an affair with Katherine Jenkins.

Although both the 32-year-old opera singer and the Beckhams have denied the accusations, Victoria is said to be 'bemused' by the hurtful rumours.

A source told MailOnline: 'She is bemused by the whole thing.'

Despite the hurt the claims have caused, the 38-year-old fashion designer 'understands' that Katherine would want to clear her name.

The source added: 'Victoria understands why Katherine would want to defend herself against these allegations.'

The superstar couple raise four children together, Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, nine, Cruz, seven, and Harper, 13 months.

Victoria is now said to be focusing her attention on ensuring her family are not dragged into a 'soap opera' after Katherine took to Twitter to deny the rumours.

A source told LOOK magazine: 'Victoria and David have been through a lot and love each other. There's no way she'd let the family get dragged into a Twitter soap opera.

'The rumours are not true, but that doesn't stop them being hurtful.'
