Taking its toll? Cher Lloyd looks thinner than ever while Katie Waissel 'needs a vacation' as they continue the X Factor tour in Manchester today
As former X Factor contestants, Cher Lloyd and Katie Waissel are currently travelling around the UK on the show's tour.
But it seems the manic schedule and energetic choreography make have taken too much of a toll on the pair, who stepped out in Manchester today ahead of tonight's performance in the city.
While Cher, 17, looked thinner than ever, baring her stomach in a cropped T-shirt, Katie, 24, wore a top bearing the slogan 'I need a vacation'.
It's not the first time Cher has sparked concerns over her weight, as many people speculated she was struggling to find time to eat during her time on The X Factor.
But she insisted at the time: 'I am eating. There is no problem. Of course I am eating I wouldn’t be able to perform if I wasn’t.'
In addition to looking very slender, Cher also missed the tour's Tuesday night performance at Manchester's Arena after falling ill.
Slender: Cher has always denied rumours she has a problem with her weight and insists she eats healthily
Despite being offered refunds, it appears most of the fans were content to attend the concert, with Scouser Rebecca Ferguson receiving the biggest cheers of the night.
Liverpool Echo's critic Jade Wright said: 'Cher was on the bill, but cancelled due to a throat infection. Fans were offered a refund before the show, but judging from the crowds inside, few returned their tickets.'
Cher has been sporting an eclectic mixture of outfits during her time on tour.
Yesterday, Cher teamed her attention-seeking hair with a clashing ensemble of patterned floral skirt, grey tights, orange ankle socks white blouse, grey Mackintosh and cream heeled loafers.
Eclectic: Yesterday, Cher appeared to have embraced Japanese street style in her latest fashion statement
A style of many colours: The 17-year-old opted for red, grey, white, black, orange, cream and a multi-coloured skirt
The unusual style appeared reminiscent of the street fashion of the Harajuku suburb of Tokyo.
Japanese teens who follow the Harajuku movement like to combine a variety of different dress styles, including Gothic Lolita, Visual Kei and Decora.
American pop star Gwen Stefani popularised the style outside of Japan with her dance troupe of 'Harajuku Girls', who accompanied her during her Love. Angel. Music. Baby. album in 2004.
On Thursday, Miss Lloyd was also attracting attention for her questionable make-up when she matched her bright red hair with the same shade of lipstick.
And today, Cher went for frilly white socks over grey tights, teamed with denim shorts, grey boots and a black jumper and matching coat.
