Earlier this year they already showed off their love for dogs as they interrupted a performance in the States to welcome some puppies on stage.
And it seems One Direction can't get enough of the fluffy pets as they've now posed for a special photo shoot all carrying a dog each.
The boys appear on the front cover of Wonderland magazine's upcoming new issue.
They call it puppy love: One Direction pose for a tongue-in-cheek 1970s-style shoot for Wonderland magazine as they each carry a labrador
And it's a striking look for the boys as they pose for a tongue-in-cheek 1970s-style shoot, all sporting brightly coloured knitwear while carrying some cute labradors.
The cover picture shows Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson wearing a different coloured jumper with matching stripey shirts underneath.
They all grin widely at the camera while cuddling each of the trainee guide dogs for the fashion feature, while the lighting helps to give off the aged feel to the images.
In the pink: Niall Horan grins widely for the fashion piece as all the boys sport a different coloured piece of knitwear
Pup star: Harry Styles showed off his stripey shirt as he carried his own pooch for the cute shots
And the font adds to the cute feel, with the editors scrawling the words: 'They call it puppy love' across the front.
Inside the front cover the boys all appear in individual shots for the trendy publication.
Niall can be seen sitting on a stool grinning widely with a pink knitted jumper on as he plays with his pooch's paws.
Man's best friend: Zayn Malik wore baby blue for his inside shot as they all pose with a guide dog each
Come here! Liam Payne sits on a stool as he plays around with his labrador as he shows off his animal-loving side
Meanwhile, Liam appears similarly in an orange jumper, Zayn wore a baby blue jersey, while Louis opted for dark green and Harry wore a less eye-catching beige.
Speaking to the publication, the boys said: 'We're just ourselves - stupid, immature and quirky.'
Back in March the boys similarly showed off their love for puppies as they performed on St Patrick's Day.
They were performing an acoustic set when half way through they were treated to some rescue pups came and joined them on stage, where the boys were then seen carrying and stroking them.
Paws for thought: Louis Tomlinson looked like he could be in a seventies shoot in the images as he showed off his perfect smile
