Hola, lovers! Jennifer Lopez got 'goosies' and dazzled New Jersey's Prudential Center on the first U.S. stop of her concert tour with Enrique Iglesias last night

The 42-year-old pop star, who dazzled the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, also used to say 'Goosies' when she served two seasons as judge on American Idol.

And though the mother of twin toddlers won't be returning to the Fox talent competition series, she has assured her fans via her official website that 'at the end of the day this is what I do. This is where I belong. Right here with all of you.'

Yin and yang: While her tour-mate opted for a t-shirt, jeans, and baseball hat, JLo played up her diva persona with three stunning costumes custom-made by one of her 'favourite' designers Zuhair Murad

Blame it on Rio: The 42-year-old pop star's cobalt blue fringed dress, with over 500 crystals, was inspired by the carnivals of Brazil

Lopez reportedly earned $15million on Idol, but due to her desire for more music and film projects - as well as Steven Tyler's recent exit - she decided to call it quits.

And while her tour-mate opted for a t-shirt, jeans, and baseball hat, JLo played up her diva persona with four stunning costumes custom-made by one of her 'favourite' designers Zuhair Murad.

Last night, Jennifer revealed a rarely-seen cascading chiffon cover-up, which perfectly matched her cobalt blue fringed dress, with over 500 crystals, inspired by the carnivals of Brazil.

Drummer girl: Donning a fedora and a feminine version of a Spanish matador outfit, Jennifer played bongos bearing the flag of her Puerto Rican roots

Lambada: JLo performed fan favourites Get Right, On the Floor, Jenny From the Block, and a stripped acoustic version of If You Had My Love, which was her first hit record in 1999

Goosies! All of Jennifer's costumes hug and highlight her famous curves like this crystal-studded nude bodysuit, which gave the star 'goosies' in the air-conditioned stadium

'Much of my inspiration came from Paris during the Mistinguett Years, when costumes were as much of a part of the show as the dancers and the movement,' Murad said in a statement published in InStyle Magazine.

All of Jennifer's costumes hug and highlight her famous curves and the pop star's crystal-studded nude bodysuit with fringe has a fabulous white feather train and matching fur hat that's reminiscent of Buckingham Palace's guards.

Aside from a blinged-out hoodie cover-up, Jennifer's third ensemble is a sexy black leotard featuring inky beading and crystal-studded tights, and her fourth was a feminine version of a Spanish matador outfit.

Working mum: Their co-headlining show, which ends September 2 in Orlando, closes with Enrique so that the mother-of-two could 'be home in time to put the babies to bed'

Dance Again: The former American Idol judge's greatest hits album, Dance Again, drops July 24 and has 13 tracks, while the deluxe edition includes three bonus singles and DVD

The Maid in Manhattan star's singing voice, which some critics have described as 'shrill,' was not always the show's centerpiece thanks to the glitzy costumes, energetic back-up dancers, pyrotechnics and fog machines.

Sleight of hand? The Maid in Manhattan star's singing voice, which some critics have described as 'shrill,' is sometimes upstaged by her glitzy costumes, energetic backup dancers, pyrotechnics, and fog machines

'HEY LOVE!RS Feels so good to be on east coast!! Soooo ready for 1st show in the States!!' Jennifer tweeted last night to her 9.5 million followers.

And after the show, a make-up-free Jennifer was photographed with her tour-mate Iglesias, who posted the backstage image this afternoon for his 2.3million followers.

When the Latino pair originally planned their co-headlining show, which ends September 2 in Orlando, Jennifer said that Enrique should close it because then the mother-of-two could 'be home in time to put the babies to bed.'

Mixing business with pleasure: The hopeless romantic and three-time divorcee's current boyfriend Casper Smart, seen here in Brazil, serves as her tour's principle choreographer

Her new song, Dance Again, was in fact co-written by Iglesias and the hopeless romantic and three-time divorcée's current boyfriend Casper Smart serves as her tour's principle choreographer.

'Sometimes, I tell her something, you know, give her notes,' the 25-year-old dancer recently told Good Morning America.

'But at the end of the day, you know, it doesn’t matter what position is what, because she’s the boss, you know?'

The loved-up pair were last seen canoodling by their hotel pool in Fortaleza, Brazil earlier this month.
