'Wowza is all I can say': It looks like TOWIE's Arg and Gemma are making a go of things as they 'reunite in Turkey'

But it appears the couple are trying to make a go of things after the wedding singer flew out to join her on holiday in Turkey.

The couple, who kissed in the Series 5 finale of the ITV2 show, have both posted a series of cryptic tweets, suggesting they are together.

Following Arg's apparent arrival in Turkey on Friday, several British holidaymakers have been tweeting about seeing Gemma and Arg at their resort.

Former car dealer Gemma, 31, has been staying in a rented villa on the Turkish coast with her family for over a week and it appears the 24-year-old has joined her.

Ahead of Arg's arrival, Gemma tweeted on Friday morning: 'Today is going to be tres exciting xxx.'

And Arg was equally excited: 'On the plane, I'm so excited! #ButterfliesLikeMad x.'

Once he arrived at his destination, he tweeted: 'So I have finally arrived in Turkey. 2 hour drive from airport to hotel but taxi driver took me to an amazing kebab shop en route so all OK.'

However, he then deleted the tweet, but later wrote about what a good time he was having: 'Wowza is all I can say! Lol, Night guys x.'

Coincidentally, both Arg and Gemma were on a boat trip today, but strangely never mentioned each other.

However, it looks like Arg was making friends with Gemma's niece Polly - who appears in some of her holiday Twitter photos - given an image he uploaded of them on the boat.

Deleted: Arg tweeted that he had arrived in Turkey, then removed the post a few hours later

He wrote: 'With the beautiful Poppy, She said she would only have a pic if i bought her a ice cream #CleverGirl.

'#JumpInTheSeaIfYouveGotARealWatch Belly Flops and Bombs off the top of the boat galore! Haha #Yolo !'

Also on a boat, Gemma tweeted: 'On a lovely boat today lovely holiday times take time out everyone xxx #holidayseason.'

Idyllic: Arg was enjoying a relaxing day cruise in the sun

Ahead of Arg's arrival, Gemma had been tweeting about missing someone.

Last Sunday, she wrote: 'Out for a nice family dinner and Turkish coffee I want to know my future tonight #missyou #mischief.'

But as its such early days in their burgeoning romance, it appears both are reluctant to confirm they're together.

Writing in this week's Closer magazine, Gemma admitted she and Arg were spending time together following their argument in The Only Way Is Marbs.

In the episode last week, Gemma stripped down a swimsuit and declared he would 'never gonna get this candy' after she complained he had been speaking disrespectfully about her.

She told Closer: 'I did have a row with Arg during the Marbella special. But he’s never made me cry. I spend all my time with him smiling and laughing.

'Arg was angry with me after the row because I’d said he had a small willy, but we went out for dinner the next night and made up. There’s strong chemistry between us, which only got stronger during the holiday.

'He definitely doesn’t regret kissing me and he’d never be really nasty about my weight. We have a lot of banter and we encourage each other to stick to our diets. He accepts me as I am.

'Since we got back, we’ve been spending lots of time in Essex at each other’s houses, listening to The Backstreet Boys! I’m so happy – he makes me feel special.'

Following the broadcast of The Only Way Is Marbs, Arg appeared to apologise for his behaviour.

He tweeted: 'Thought it was 2 good to be true going through an ep without an argument lol! Love @missgemcollins who knows what the future may hold #TOWIE.'
