Recipe for disaster: Masterchef star Gregg Wallace at the Baftas in April with new love Heidi Brown, who he met via Twitter
Food guru Greg Wallace has split from his third wife Heidi, who he met over Twitter, just 14 months after they tied the knot.
The MasterChef presenter has moved out of his marital home, where his 30-year-old wife remains looking after Wallace's two teenage children.
Wallace has blamed his hectic career for the split and is reportedly living alone in a bachelor flat in London.
Colleagues and friends are said to be shocked as the 47-year-old has repeatedly publicly praised his wife for her devotion to his career and turning her life around.
He credited her with dropping two stone and introducing him to the gym.
But a friend of the TV personality told the Sunday Mirror his hectic work schedule had caused difficulties with his wife, a former biology teacher.
The chef runs a catering company, Wallace & Co and London's restaurant Gregg's Table, as well as presenting MasterChef.

Her daring paid off. Wallace's reply - 'Ever visit London? Give me a call, I'll buy you lunch' - was swiftly followed by a date at the Baftas in April.
His friend added: 'He's been busy juggling his catering business and his showbiz career.
'All these things together have taken their toll.'
Former greengrocer Wallace has reportedly moved into a flat in London while Heidi, who is his personal assistant, has remained in the marital home in Whitstable,Kent, looking after his children, Tom, 17, and Libby, 15.
A spokesman for Wallace told the MailOnline: ''Due to a number of factors Gregg and Heidi have made the difficult and mutual decision to take some time apart. They remain on amicable terms with only the best support for each other.'

His first wife, Christine, left him after just six weeks of marriage in 1991.
His second wife, Denise, a former pastry chef from the Sanctuary Club in London's Covent Garden, who moved in with him a week into their relationship, ended their marriage five years ago when she discovered he had been cheating on her.
