TOWIE's Sam and Billie Faiers emerge for the first time since vicious attack

By Holly Thomas

Out for the first time: Sam and Billie Faiers finally left their home and drove to the Ilford Police Station following the brutal attack on Saturday night

Sam and Billie Faiers have left their home for the first time since the brutal attack during which Sam was beaten until unconscious on Saturday night.

Both wearing sunglasses, the sisters drove immediately to Ilford police station.

The pair have been recovering since they were assaulted and robbed by girl gang in Essex and London last weekend.

Horrific: Sam was beaten until unconscious by a girl gang who lured her to an estate near Chigwell, Essex on false pretenses

Sam has insisted that she is on the mend from the injuries for which she was hospitalised, tweeting earlier today: 'Just finished some filming, having lunch and tea at home :-) still resting, but nearly feeling 100% mainly thanks to all u guys :-) x x x'

She showed her determination to continue with life as normal, adding later: 'Not sure where the rumours have come from that I'm leaving Towie? I did not say this :-) x x x'

The glamour model looked composed as she arrived at the station, wrapping up in a leopard print scarf, walking in a pair of high-heeled black boots.

Composed: Sam, who has said that she is well on the mend, entered the police station in characteristic leather boots

Her sister Billie was likewise well put-together, also in black boots, with burgundy trousers and a black top.

Sam, 20, was beaten until she was unconscious after she was lured to an estate near Chigwell, Essex on false pretences.

The incident happened shortly after her older sister Billie, 21, was robbed and attacked by the same gang in a London nightclub.

Covering up: Billie, who suffered a nasty cut lip in the attack, hid her face as she and Sam left the police station

It was the first time the girls had been seen out since the attack so it was no surprise that they were the centre of attention

Sam and Billie were absent from Chelmsford Dance Studio yesterday, where the gang met up to film for TOWIE.

Sam's best friend Harry Derbidge, Chloe Sims and Lauren Pope were all seen in an emotional embrace outside the studio.

The trio were then joined by Lauren Goodger and Frankie Essex and looked deep in conversation.

They were perked up by bubbly Gemma Collins however, who was seen being twirled around by one of the Georgiades twins.

There to make her feel better: Sam's ex Joey Essex showed up at the house with presents

Tigger: Thoughtful Joey brought Sam a cuddly toy to cheer her up

Sam spoke of her horrifying assault yesterday, admitting she thought 'I was going to die'.

Billie explained how a fun night out turned sinister when the group of girls surrounded her on the dancefloor at the Jet Black club near Tottenham Court Road.

After she was cut by a glass or bottle in the club, the action moved outside, when she was kicked and punched by members of the group.

A friend in need: Lucy Mecklenburgh showed up with a bunch of flowers at the Faiers' house

Sombre: The cast have missed Sam and Billie during filming this week

She told The Sun: 'They were punching me and hitting me with their high heels when I was on the ground. They pulled my hair and dragged me along the street.

'I thought, "I'm in real trouble now". No one could help me. They took my shoes, my bag and my phone. I can only compare them to wild animals.'

After an injured Billie was driven home to her friend Greg Shephard's house in Chigwell, her younger sister Sam was travelling home separately in a taxi.

Showering her with gifts: Joey also brought Sam a large bunch of flowers

She then received a phonecall from one of the alleged assailants, who promised to give her back her sister's belongings.

Sam told the paper: 'They just came at me like a herd of elephants.

'It's just a blur. I was being so violently attacked by so many girls there was nothing I could do but curl up into a ball. Then I passed out.'

Also thinking of the girls: Mark Wright was pictured buying a gigantic teddy bear
