Time to face facts: Jodie Marsh sported a harsh make-up job for a night out at the Ivy restaurant in London
A few weeks ago Jodie Marsh unveiled her ultra-buff new body that she has quietly been working on over the last few months.
The general reaction to the pictures was one of disgust, though she also got a pat on the back from some observers.
Nevertheless, last night, the attention was placed firmly on Jodie's face rather than her body as she stepped out at the Ivy restaurant sporting an awful make-up job.
Undercover: The former glamour model wore a chic, fitted black dress with matching heels and handbag for her evening out in the west end
With her buffed up physique hidden away under a chic black dress, the former glamour model could have maintained a demure image on her night out.
Instead she appeared to have applied her make-up with a trowel, sporting bright red lipstick and heavy black eyeliner together with a rather pale foundation.
With the three elements combined, and Miss Marsh pulling a series of oddball faces, it made for quite a sight.
Clowning around: Jodie's make-up job took the attention away from her muscular frame
A shame, because the all-black dress/heels ensemble looked great on her.
After the Ivy, Jodie headed over to Stringfellows for some post-dinner entertainment courtesy of the strip clubs exotic dancers.
The 32-year-old has been back in the limelight since unveiling her ridiculously bulky body, which she has been entering into bodybuilding competitions.
Speaking to Heat magazine this week, Jodie explained that she has been training as a body builder with her coach Tim for three years.
Chic and unique: The 32-year-old leaves Stringfellows in London's Covent Garden area
She insisted that it wasn't a bid for attention or fame, stressing: 'No, this is where people get me so wrong.
'When I was at school I wanted to be a vet or a lawyer, I didn’t want to be famous.'
'I got bullied at school for being ugly and that is why I wanted to be a model because I thought I could prove to the bullies and to myself that I wasn’t ugly. It is not attention seeking.'
Happy with her image: Jodie insists she's content with how she now looks having originally become a model to beat her childhood bullies
The new direction her career has taken has clearly given her a huge confidence boost.
'I feel proud when I look in the mirror. I still can’t believe it’s my body. Like, when I look at my abs, I’m just like, f****** hell, I love it so much! I’m the prettiest I’ve ever looked,' Jodie enthused.
Naturally aware that the muscular look isn't to everyone's taste, Jodie continued: 'If you’re not in the bodybuilding world it is scary, but to me it’s normal. I think I still look really feminine.'
Jodie explained that she achieved her astonishing physique thanks to a high protein diet during training.
