Oh my Gawd, we can see your knickers!: Stacey Solomon's sheer footless tights leave her over-exposed at triathlon launch

By Daily Mail Reporter

Sartorial slip-up: Stacey Solomon ended up showing off her underwear when she mistakenly wore footless tights instead of leggings to the launch of the Virgin Active London Triathlon

It was meant to be a simple photocall promoting fitness to launch the Virgin Active London Triathlon.

But Stacey Solomon unwittingly ended up turning things rather racy with her sheer footless tights left her a tad overexposed.

The 21-year-old was left showing off her black knickers as her red Virgin logo T-shirt failed to cover her backside.

While her fellow celebrities opted for proper leggings or tracksuit bottoms, the I'm A Celebrity winner opted for the footless tights - better suited to under dresses and skirts - at the shoot in Acton, West London.

As she walked back to a Virgin gym to get changed after the shoot, it looks like she may have grown self-conscious over her see-through leggings as she tried to pull the T-shirt down over her bottom.

Compared to her contemporaries in the trainers, the X Factor star was clearly going for a more glamorous image with her white platform heels as she joined Sir Richard Branson and a host of stars.

Writing on her Twitter this morning, she said: 'Off to meet Mr Branson for triathlon photo call very excited eek.'

The group were promoting the upcoming London Triathlon, set to take place between 30-31 July.

It's unknown what distances Miss Solomon will be attempting during the swim-run-cycle event in the capital.

Also at the launch were singers Michelle Heaton and Melanie C, actresses Bunmi Mojekwu and Olivia Halllinan, model Nell McAndrew and reality TV stars Liz Locke and Chloe Madeley.

Joining Madeley was her Dancing On Ice winner boyfriend Sam Attwater, along with Matt Willis, JLS singer Oritse Williams and ex-Hollyoaks star Marcus Patric.

Heading the launch was Virgin tycoon Sir Richard Branson, who looked like he was enjoying being surrounded by young females for the photocall.
