Could this be the happiest family in Hollywood? Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber enjoy fun-filled day out with their boys

Happy family: Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber took their boys Alexander and Samuel for a fun-filled day out in L.A. yesterday


It’s very rare for a person’s work, love and family life to all be going swimmingly at the same time but for one Hollywood couple things are looking better than ever.

Naomi Watts and partner Live Schreiber not only have successful actor careers and a strong relationship – they also have two adorable boys.

The 42-year-old actress and her doting partner took their sons Alexander, three, Samuel, two, for a fun-filled day out and the scene could easily have been taken straight from a film.

It seems they really are the perfect family as they had an action-packed day out and all four members of the Schreiber clan appeared to thoroughly enjoy themselves.

First they enjoyed a bike ride in the sunshine but the two boys didn’t have to exert themselves too much as they were towed along by their father.

Naomi was dressed for the active day out in a pair of three-quarter length gym trousers and a grey printed vest for the family outing.

Pit stop: The family stopped for a cold refreshment and everyone seemed to enjoy tucking into the ice cream


Beige shorts and t-shirts were the uniform of the day for the male members of the family.

As the group arrived at the boardwalk, ice cream was the order of the day with all members tucking into the tasty treat.

The British-born Australian actress ensured her family were sat in the shade and she also donned a denim hat to shield herself from the sun as she enjoyed the snack.

Next the family made their way to the amusement park where the hit the rides en masse enjoying several different rides suitable for the whole family.

Liev watched his boys take to the dodgems and offered his sons some driving tips.

Naomi took her youngest boy on a ride but couldn't resist taking a family snap of her other half and Alexander mid-way through the ride on her iPhone.


Dance-off: Naomi showed off her dance moves as she challenged Alexander to a game while Liev and Samuel watched on


If that wasn’t enough fun for one day the group headed to the games centre where Naomi challenged her son to a dance-off, while Live carried Samuel on his shoulders so he could get a better look.

Naomi took time out from filming her latest film, J Edgar, directed by Clint Eastwood, to spend some quality time with her family.

The film which also stars Leonardo DiCaprio Jeffrey Donovan, Judi Dench and Ed Westwick is a biographical drama based on the life of FBI director J. Edgar Hoover.
