Luxury: Jennifer Aniston is understood to be close to closing on this elegant West Village duplex in New York
She played a Greenwich Village resident for ten years on Friends, and now Jennifer Aniston is moving to New York for real.
The actress is understood to be purchasing a luxury, four bedroom duplex in the West Village for a staggering $14,950,000.
Jennifer revealed this week that she has been 'looking and looking and looking' for the perfect Manhattan pad, and this two-story pre-war residence appears to be just what she was after.
Views: The $14.95 million home features a top floor master bathroom and spectacular views of the Hudson river and Empire State Building
Light: The airy state-of-the-art kitchen includes dining for eight
'I grew up here. I miss it,' the Friends star said during an interview with New York's ABC News this week.
'There is nothing like being in the city that is just the city of Everyman. It’s all walks of life - I love that!'
Jennifer, who owns a Malibu beach house, can move straight in to the elegant home, which is being offered fully furnished.
Luxury: The master suite includes an expansive bedroom with fireplace and powder room
Sleek: The duplex recently underwent a two-year complete renovation
The two-story home has just undergone a two-year renovation and has breathtaking views over the Hudson river and Empire State Building, according to the real estate listing.
There is a top floor master suite with an enormous bedroom and a glass-walled master bathroom.
As well as wraparound terraces off every room, the duplex has two large, private terraces.
Children's room: One of the four bedrooms is painted a cheery green and fitted out for children, with a baby nursery also ready and waiting on the same floor
Hideaway: In addition to several entertaining rooms, the home has cosy living areas
Three additional bedrooms and bathrooms are on the main level as well as a state-of-the-art kitchen and dining area.
But while the neighbours may be getting excited about meeting Aniston, they shouldn't get their hopes up too much.
When shown a newspaper report of the 'purchase' on the View this week she denied she was involved.
'That is unbelievable, where did they get that from?' she asked after Barbara Walters showed her the report.
Prime real estate: While the building doesn't look like much from the outside, it is a prestigious block in the heart of the West Village
Interestingly, if she is thinking of buying, the home comes complete with a nursery.
This week Aniston shot down the ongoing rumours of her adopting a baby form Mexico, but insisted she does want children - naturally.
'I think people honestly just want to see me as a mum and married and barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen,' Jennifer told People magazine.
'And I just want to say, "Everybody, relax! It's going to happen." I'll be singing from the mountaintop.
'Let me have the moment where I get to say, "yes, in fact, I'm having a baby." As opposed to adopting from Mexico.'
She added: 'I'm not against doing it on my own, if it really led to that place. I just don't think that's going to be the case.'
Moves on Manhattan: Jennifer has been busy during her New York visit this week, celebrating her 42nd birthday with friends at The Spotted Pig Restaurant in between promo work for her film Just Go With It
