Sarah Palin's daughter uses homophobic slurs on Facebook to defend her mother's TV show

By Sara Nelson

Sarah Palin’s 16-year-old daughter used homophobic slurs to attack a Facebook user who claimed her mother’s reality TV show was ‘failing’.

Willow Palin reacted with fury to the comments, branding the poster, named as Tre, a ‘f**got’ and ‘so gay’.

Tre, who is believed to have gone to school with the Palin children had updated his status to read: ‘Sarah Palin’s Alaska is failing so hard right now,’ TMZ reported.

Willow’s immediate response was: ‘Haha your so gay. I have no idea who you are, But what I’ve seen pictures of, your disgusting … My sister had a kid and is still hot.’

She added: ‘Tre stfu. Your such a f**got.’

Elder sister Bristol, who is currently taking part in Dancing With The Stars, also waded into the row, telling Tre: ‘You’re running your mouth just to talk sh*t.’
Willow then chipped in with: ‘Sorry that you guys are all jealous of my families success and you guys aren’t goin to go anywhere with your lives.’

A source told TMZ: ‘Willow normally doesn’t use this type of language, but she felt like she was being attacked along with her family.’

The source also likened Willow to a ‘baby bear defending Mama Grizzly.’

The phrase is one coined by Mrs Palin herself, after comparing rugged frontierswomen with bracing conservative views to mother bears.

The Palin sisters perhaps shouldn’t take criticism of their mother’s show to heart – as Sunday’s debut episode drew just under five million viewers, making it the top rated series premiere in network TLC’s history.

However, the show failed to beat the network's highest rated programme - the separation episode of Jon & Kate Plus Eight - which attracted 10.6 million viewers.
