Smiling Beyonce keeps her stomach firmly covered at basketball game... as Jay-Z denies pregnancy rumours

By Daily Mail Reporter

Smiles all round: Beyonce and Jay-Z looked happy and relaxed as they watched a basketball game in New Jersey

They have consistently denied they are expecting their first child together.
But last night Beyonce and Jay-Z couldn't stop smiling as they watched the New Jersey Nets take on the Detroit Pistons in New Jersey.

And while 29-year-old Beyonce kept her stomach firmly hidden under a loose T-shirt, her husband Jay-Z, 40, is the latest person to come forward to deny his wife is pregnant.

He said: 'It's not going to happen. I'm just shooting down the rumours before they start.'

Referring to magazine reports the couple are expecting, Jay-Z added: 'They do that every slow news day. This is like the fifth time. I think we have five kids now.

'No truth, but I wonder when people will stop giving it relevance? You can’t do the same subject. At least change the subject, they have to find a new one.'

Jay-Z is the latest person from the Knowles family who has been forced to publicly deny the reports.

Earlier in the week, Beyonce's mother Tina appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show where she insisted: 'No, no. It's not true. Not right now.

Stylish: The trendy pair looked more in love than ever as they sat in the front row

'I'm looking forward to it. But with all the rumours, by now I should have about five or six grandchildren.'

Beyonce and Jay-Z - real name Shawn Carter - started dating in 2002 while working on the single '03 Bonnie And Clyde.

The couple have always remained very private about their relationship, refusing to discuss each other in interviews.

They married in a secret ceremony in New York in April 2008.

In an interview with the Mail On Sunday's You magazine in August, Beyonce refused to divulge when she was planning to start a family.

She said: 'My ambition is to continue to learn about the world and to eventually have a family. There are no dates, no times – it will happen when I am ready.'
