'Yayyyyyy Dadddddyyy': Coleen Rooney and son Kai share their delight as Wayne scores England's winning goal against Ukraine

By Kirsty Mccormack

..She's always shown her support for her husband and his team, but last night Coleen Rooney was more excited than usual.

The 26-year-old couldn't hide her delight as she watched England take on Ukraine last night and was clearly chuffed that Wayne had scored.

Taking to her Twitter page, Coleen wrote: 'There's lots of screaming in our house!!!! Yayyyyyy Dadddddyyyy!!!!!'

Who's the daddy! Coleen Rooney and Kai were clearly excited after Wayne scored a goal in last night's match and she couldn't help but tweet her joy

The WAG was probably celebrating with their young son Kai who is already a fan of football at just two-years-old.

Her and her son have been in Krakow, Poland, supporting Wayne but yesterday they were back in the comfort of their own home as they cheered on England with their family.

Rather than wear a football shirt, Coleen showed her support by donning a pair of red personalised Converse trainers.

She tweeted a photo of the footwear, saying: 'Had my red converse on for the match tonight @ConversebyGem. I'll have to wear them Sunday now ha!!! X'

Wayne nodded England ahead at the far post in the 48th minute of the match last night following a cross from captain Steven Gerrard.

But it wasn't just Wayne's nearest and dearest who were proud of him, as England fans all over were chuffed that the footballer had brought their team to victory.

England fan Joll Harding, 51, from Ruislip, Middlesex, said: 'I think we played really well. It was the usual England, keeping us on the edge of our seats.

'We did the right thing playing Rooney. It's given us some confidence.'

Stu Bishop, 28, from Rugby, described the victory as a 'fantastic result'. He said: 'The lads did really well.

'It was a difficult game for England because both teams played well. I'm so happy we came out on top.'

Paul Lamkin, 51, from Basildon, Essex, said: 'It wasn't the best performance in the world but it got us the result.

In it goes! Wayne scored a goal in the 48th minute of England's match against Ukraine

Someone's happy! Last night's match was Wayne's first of Euro 2012

'Rooney's header was a poacher's goal. That is what we brought him in for. Italy will be a very tough game though.'

Coleen was also bombarded with tweets from fans who congratulated her husband, and she tried her best to reply to most of them.

'Thanks love!! Made up for him and all the lads!!! So much pressure on there shoulders!! Bring on Sunday haha!!! X' she replied to Emmerdale actress Charley Webb.

So proud: Coleen and Kai supported Wayne by travelling to Poland to be with him

England's latest win sets up a quarter-final clash with Italy in Kiev this Sunday.

However, Coleen will once again be watching it from the comfort of her own home, and it seems she is happy to be home.

'Good to be back in the gym with @EliseLindsay77 and felt great after my hot yoga @Yoganeshan last night!! So looking forward to match later!' she tweeted yesterday.

The British star certainly made the most of her time away and was spotted every day out and about with Kai and her brother Anthony.

One day the trio were spotted soaking up the sunshine in Krakow while the toddler showed off his gymnastic skills in a nearby park, while the next day he played in a water fountain.

Mother and son were lucky enough to spend some time with Wayne on Sunday afternoon as he took a break from training.

Kai was of course celebrating Father's Day with his famous parents, and this again was another excuse for Coleen to tweet her praise for the footballer.

In a caption that accompanied a photo of the father and son, Coleen wrote: 'Happy Fathers day to @WayneRooney! Thanks for being a fantastic dad to Kai and looking forward to seeing you later!!!'

That's our boy: Coleen tweeted a photo of her and Kai watching the match together, and also of Kai and Wayne spending Father's Day together (R)
