Blue for luck? Catherine Zeta-Jones wears favourite navy summer minidress for first day on set of movie Rock Of Ages

By JODY THOMPSON

Let's go to work: Catherine Zeta Jones was seen wearing her favourite floaty blue minidress as she arrived on the set of Rock Of Ages in Miami, Florida, yesterday

She's a Hollywood movie star who could afford to wear a different dress everyday if she so chose - but Catherine Zeta Jones clearly likes to wear what she feels comfortable in.

The 41-year-old star was seen arriving on set of her new movie Rock Of Ages in Florida yesterday looked stunning in a navy blue floaty V-necked kaftan-style minidress that she was seen wearing on holiday last month.

She'd worn the dress over a stone coloured miniskirt with her favourite thong sandals with flowers fashioned out of leather across the front.

Feeling blue: The star is playing the villain of the movie - the Mayor's wife

The flouncy frock is clearly a favourite of the actresses too, she was seen wearing it and the sandals on her holiday last month with husband Michael Douglas sailing the Mediterranean.

Perhaps she'd worn it on her first day at work on the movie as something of a good luck charm - and to remind herself of her idyllic time away.

At one point on the set however, she covered her brunette hair with a multi-coloured head scarf tied in a turban style to give her outfit something of a Seventies flavour.

Leggy: The mother-of-two looked positively glowing following her month-long holiday in July

Catherine had a month-long holiday aboard a luxury yacht with Michael and their children Dylan, 11 and eight-year-old Carys.

Before he headed off, Michael said of their holiday: 'You've got to believe in heaven for perfect happiness but right now I will take warm seas the same temperature as the air, the freshest seafood, giggles from my kids and a Welsh chuckle.'

On her hols: Catherine was seen wearing the dress as she went shopping in Rapallo, Italy, two weeks ago during their month sailing round the Med
