'I want to spank Britney Spears': Rihanna whips up interests in her duet with fellow pop star

Girls club: Rihanna and Britney Spears have collaborated on a new remix for Rihanna's song S&M


Clearly not shy of courting controversy, provocative songstress Rihanna has admitted that she wants to 'spank Britney Spears' in a new radio interview.

The pair, who are individually two of the biggest female pop stars on the planet today, have joined forces to collaborate on the funky remix of Rihanna's song S&M which was previewed all over the internet yesterday.

And during a radio interview promoting the new track Rihanna let slip her kinky intentions towards the racy Ms Spears.

When asked during her chat with New York's Z100 radio this morning if the two women would be doing a video for the remixed track Rihanna, 25, responded: 'I hope so. I want to spank Britney Spears.'

Talking to the show's host Elvis Duran the Bajan beauty also discussed how the collaboration came about.

'It's very strange. Britney never does features. It was really amazing that she really wanted to be part of this song,' Rihanna said.

'She really liked the song to begin with, but it was a different story when she had to sing it, and she really wanted to be a part of it. It made it really, really special, because you never see two pop female artists doing songs together anymore.'

The two women both Tweeted excitedly about the duet over the past couple of days with Rihanna calling Britney 'gangsta' and Brit responding by calling Rihanna a 'tease.'
