Can't keep the smile off her face! Pregnant Fearne Cotton gets the giggles as she leaves Radio 1 studios

With her first child on the way, it's no wonder Fearne Cotton has plenty to smile about.

But the 30-year-old presenter was even giddier than usual as she left the Radio 1 studios earlier today (Friday).

Covering her baby bump in a long flowing black gown and balancing on teetering black shoe boots, the Celebrity Juice star couldn't control her fit of giggles as she made her way to the car.

The Radio 1 host looked positively radiant with the glow of impending motherhood as she joked with photographers in the sunshine.

But it would seem the star was given a little reminder of her unborn tot as she later was snapped having to support her back lovingly as she leaned backwards.

Fearne announced she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Jesse Wood, the son of Rolling Stones rocker Ronnie Wood, earlier this month.

Writing on her official website, she said: 'Jesse and I are very happy to announce we are having a baby.

'We are over the moon, morning sickness aside (me, not Jess) and looking forward to the little Cotton Woods arrival.'

But speaking on her Radio 1 show, the star admitted she was struggling with the perils of morning sickness.

She said: 'I’m over the moon, really, really happy. I sighed a big breath of relief being able to tell family and friends.

‘It’s nice to be able to talk about it at last, rather than just feeling relatively sick at work and running to the toilet without anyone seeing.

‘Any other women who have gone through morning sickness know you feel very ropey for about three months – and you can’t say anything.’

The baby will be the third child for Jesse, who has two children from a previous relationship.

Fearne has been dating Jesse since last July - two months after splitting from former fiance Jesse Jenkins, a Californian skateboarder who she dated for three years.

Guitarist Ronnie, 65, has also given his seal of approval, saying: ‘Fearne’s a beautiful girl. They’re lovely together. I met her when she came to a Faces gig with Jesse at Cornbury Festival. I very much approve.

‘She’s rock ‘n’ roll. I do wonder if she’ll become my daughter-in-law any time soon.’

While her fashion choices are sometimes questionable, there is one aspect of her appearance in which Fearne Cotton usually excels - her make-up.

And with her own cosmetics range for Boots under her belt, it's not hard to see why.

But over the weekend, the 29-year-old radio presenter ended up looking tired and washed-out as she went make-up free while meeting a friend for lunch in Notting Hill.

Tired: While Fearne looked cute in her summery dress, her lack of make-up detracted from her overall look


The Radio 1 DJ donned a summery floral dress and turquoise sandals as she grabbed some food with her pal.

But Fearne's chic outfit couldn't detract from the fact she had gone without any cosmetic enhancements.

Her busy week appeared to have taken its toll on the presenter, who is dating Ronnie Wood's son Jesse, as the bags under her eyes were clear to see.

That's better: Fearne managed a tight smile when she spotted photographers


And while Fearne has enviably flawless skin, the lack of make-up made her look pale and washed-out.

However, Fearne seemed unconcerned about her appearance as she met up with her friend.

She tweeted followers later in the day: 'Tea and laughter in the sunshine with my mate Eden.'

Model and musician Jesse and Fearne have been dating for a couple of months and went public at Glastonbury festival at the end of last month.

The new relationship comes just months after Fearne called off her engagement to skateboarder Jesse Jenkins.

A spokesperson for Fearne said in May: ‘Sadly their relationship came to a mutual end last month. There is no-one else involved.'

It's the situation every celebrity dreads - ensuring their outfit is undeniably perfect before being caught off guard with a huge gust of wind.

But, despite London's blustery weather today, Billie Piper and Fearne Cotton still managed to look sexy as they fell victim to the stronger-than-usual breeze.

While Billie's blonde locks ended up just looking tousled by the wind, Fearne ended up showing a little bit more leg than intended as the hem of her purple dress, one of her own range for online retailer Very.co.uk, was blown up as she arrived at the BBC Radio 1 studios in London.

Billie was at Radio 1 to promote the release of her new DVD, the fourth season of Secret Diary of a Call Girl.

While she has now finished playing call girl Belle du Jour in the hit ITV2 series, there is a possibility Billie will be working on a film version of the show with producers Stateside.

However, Billie recently revealed despite talks about the movie, she is struggling to find work because of the credit crunch.

Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, Billie, 28, said: 'I'm just trying to find a job. We're back to the drawing board.

'It's frustrating, it's tiring. It's desperate. You slightly lose your mind. You have no confidence, then you have too much confidence.

'It's an endless frustration. That's the nature of the beast. You have to suck it up and get on with it.'

Billie even said she is considering moving her family, husband Laurence Fox and son Winston, to America in a bid to get a new job.

She said: 'Things are getting made a lot faster for less money and there are a lot fewer opportunities for actors.

'There's not a lot of work in the UK - that's why everyone's moving to America. It's where the work seems to be. But it definitely feels like a lot more of a slog to get a gig these days.'
