Pippa Middleton tops off a stellar front row as she is joined by Peaches Geldof and Rosario Dawson at Temperley

Style queens: Pippa Middleton was joined in the front row by actress Rosario Dawson, left, in Temperley

Pippa Middleton made her first appearance at London Fashion Week tonight as she joined Peaches Geldof and Rosario Dawson on a star-studded front row at the Temperley catwalk show.

Pippa's arrival caused a flurry of flashbulbs to go off as the assembled crowd craned their necks for a glimpse of the Duchess of Cambridge's sister.

Wearing a cream and black mini dress she had collected from the Temperley store earlier that day, Pippa was groomed to perfection with glossy curls and immaculate make up (in the same kohl-rimmed style favoured by sister Kate).

Pippa managed to look relaxed as the photographers circled, with only her clasped hands holding tightly onto the hemline of her short skirt to avoid a wardrobe malfunction giving a hint that she was not totally at ease.

Pippa has become close to the label's founder Alice Temperley since having a Temperley gown customised in emerald green to wear at the evening reception of Kate and William's wedding.

Joining Pippa on the front row was actress Rosario Dawson in red lace Temperley, last spotted partying at the Roberto Cavalli store launch on Saturday night.

Ladies in red: Peaches wore a full-length red gown with headdress at the show, finished off with a slash of red lipstick, while actress Rosario Dawson, right, sported a red Temperley design

Newly slender Peaches Geldof completed the stellar line-up, wearing a red slip dress with beaded headdress and red platform shoes.

A fashion week regular, Peaches has been seen front row at a number of shows this week after jetting back from the U.S. where she had attended New York's fashion week.

Pippa has been close to Alice Temperley since she chose one of the designers' creations for the evening reception of Kate and William's wedding

THE TEMPERLEY COLLECTION

The collection the stars and the stylish enjoyed was at times ethereal, at times dramatic. Heavy on the intricate beading and lace that have become Temperley's trademark, the palette was subtle - ivories, putty - or graphic and monochromatic.

Dramatic: Black lace was made into sumptuous eveningwear and sophisticated separates

Temperley's trademark style: Intricate beading, bridal-inspired chic and elegant shapes
