Frail and fragile: Despite her broad smile Ulrika Jonsson looked worryingly thin as she left the ITV studios earlier today
She put her extremely thin frame down to a back problem and earlier this month she claimed she was eating more.
But today Ulrika Jonsson appeared frail and extremely gaunt with her tendons, veins and bones clearly visible across her neck and chest.
Ulrika, 44, was leaving ITV studios in London earlier today when she spotted photograpers and pulled her face into a dramatic smile.
But the exertion of her facial expression took its toll on her neck and the tendons were seen protruding out.
There wasn’t an ounce of body fat visible and in fact Ulrika appeared almost emaciated with chest and collar bones protruding and on clear show.
The TV personality, who was filming an appearance on the Alan Titchmarsh show, was dressed in a fern green hoody over a black vest top and a pair of jeans as she left the studio.
Not well: Ulrika who revealed she suffered from a degenerative disc disease in January looked ill as she left the studios
She had her blonde locks pulled into a bun at the back of her head.
Earlier this month Ulrika opened up about her body and said she had been battling a degenerative disc disease which left her unable to gain weight.
However at the time the former weather-girl said she was feeling better and consuming more.
She told ITV's Lorraine: 'I am actually eating a lot more now and I feel better in myself, I feel a little bit more in control. I still have the problem, it will be ongoing, but I need to keep moving.'

She added: 'The pain moves in different places and moves around because it’s been ongoing for about four years.
'So it’s related to degenerative disc disease…so it’s extremely painful. It’s there twenty-four-seven, but I feel like finally now – the beginning of this year.
Curvier: Ulrika was much fuller faced and curvier, seen here in 1993, before her breast reduction
The mother-of-four revealed her condition in January after months of speculation.
She said it robbed her of her appetite and left her battling depression.
GMTV presenter Kate Garraway said last July that staff were left 'worried' about Ulrika when she appeared on the programme, showing off her skeletal frame.
It was then that Ulrika revealed her back problem.
Ulrika had a breast reduction to take her bust from a 32G to a 32C in 2009.
