Cher Lloyd steps out with a copycat Rihanna hairstyle

By Daily Mail Reporter

Redhead ambition: X Factor 2010 star Cher stepped out with dyed red hair curled into ringlets and teased into a Mohican style do in South Woodford

She was recently named the most talked about new celebrity of the year.

And clearly Cher Lloyd is trying her best to help it remain that way as she stepped out with a striking new hairdo.

X Factor 2010 star Cher stepped out with dyed red hair curled into ringlets and teased into a Mohican style do.

Copycat: Cher wore a curled up-do which was very similar to a style once worn by singer Rihanna

It was very similiar to a head-turning look sported by singer Rihanna, who memorably performed on the show late last year.

And like Rihanna, Cher has experimented with a series of looks during her time on the X Factor, and even reportedly clashed with the show's stylists.

The 17-year-old singer recently topped an internet list drawn up by media agency PHD based on Google searches, Facebook mentions, Twitter followers and YouTube views.

She beat X Factor rivals One Direction and even the winner Matt Cardle to top the survey.

How high can you go: The pinned up Mohican was also dyed red, like idol Cheryl Cole's was recently

Cher was seen arriving at club Funky Mojoes in Essex for an appearance, one of a number she has done since leaving the show.

Although she has been playing to smaller audiences that she has been used to, it seems that may not remain the case for much longer.

The young singer has also been tipped for serious chart success alongside will.i.am. who has revealed the pair have made a single together.

The Black Eyed Peas star tweeted: ‘The day after the last xfactor…cher loyd (sic)and I went in the studio and made a mega smasher.’

He also posted: ‘@CherLloyd hey cher, when should we release the song we recorded in London???...(It’s a smasher)
